Ammonium dizinc phosphate hydrogenphosphate, a new ammonium zinc phosphate, consists of corrugated anionic layers of ZnO4 and PO4 tetrahedra, sharing vertices [dav(Zn-O) = 1.948 (1), dav(P-O) = 1.534 (1) Å and [theta]av(Zn-O-P) = 136 (8)°]. Trigonally coordinated O atoms are present in these layers. Extra-layer NH4+ cations [dav(N...O) = 2.993 (3) Å] complete the structure, which is isostructural with that of KZn2(PO4)(HPO4).
