organic compounds
In the title compound, bis(2-methylphenylamino)(morpholino)methylium chloride hydrate, C19H24N3O+.Cl-.H2O, the guanidine moiety is protonated; the three C-N bond lengths are therefore almost identical. Steric strain as a result of the bulky substituents leads to distortions of the guanidine skeleton. The co-crystallized water molecule accepts no conventional hydrogen bonds but only weak C-HO interactions.
