Bis[([mu]-2,6-diphenylphenoxido-O:O)diethylgallium]

The title compound, [Ga₂(C₁₈H₁₃O)₂C₂H₅₄], contains discrete dimeric molecules containing an essentially planar four-membered (Ga-O-Ga-O) ring [O-Ga-O 75.04 (7) and 75.99 (7)°]. The Ga-O bond distances range from 1.992 (2) to 2.034 (2) Å and the O atoms have a trigonal-planar coordination.
