The title complex, [Pt(C25H22P2)(C25H22P2S2)](ClO4)2·C3H6O or [Pt(dppm)(dppmS2)](ClO4)2·C3H6O, where dppmS2 is bis(diphenylthiophosphinyl)methane and dppm is bis(diphenylphosphino)methane, is the first example of a platinum(II) complex containing both dppm and dppmS2 ligands. In the cation, the dppm ligand forms a non-planar four-membered chelate ring, while the dppmS2 ligand forms a six-membered chelate ring with twist–boat conformation.
