In the title complex, bis(di-n-propyldithiocarbamato)nickel(II), [Ni(C₇H₁₄NS₂)₂], a pair of crystallographically independent half-molecules exist in the asymmetric unit. The Ni atoms have square-planar environments and the mean planes through the Ni(CS₂)₂ moieties of the independent molecules form a dihedral angle of 77.81 (6)°.
