(+)-(2S,3S,4S,5S)-2-Benzyl-N-(tert-butyloxycarbonyl)-3-hydroxy-4,5-dimethylpyrrolidine at 143K

The structure determination of the title compound, C₁₈H₂₇NO₃, was undertaken in order to determine the relative and absolute configuration of the chiral centres. The pyrrolidine ring exhibits a twist conformation, and the N atom lies in a common plane with its neighbours. The intermolecular packing is stabilized by a hydrogen bond.
