metal-organic compounds
The crystal structure of the title compound, [Zn(C2H3O2)(C16H36N4)]ClO4.H2O, has been determined. The coordination about the Zn2+ atom is distorted square pyramidal, with the four N atoms of the macrocycle in the basal positions and the coordinating O atom of the acetate group along the axial axis. The Zn-O and average Zn-N bond lengths are 1.997 (3) and 2.128 (3) Å, respectively.
