[1,1'-Bis(methylphenylphosphino)ferrocene-P,P'](pentane-2,4-dionato-O,O')palladium Tetrafluoroborate

The C₂ symmetric bisphosphine rac-Fe(C₅H₄PMePh)₂ (rac-mppf) forms a Pd^II complex [(rac-mppf)Pd(acac)]BF₄. The coordination geometry of the Pd centre is square planar while the ring-ring conformation of the rac-mppf ligand is intermediate between synperiplanar and synclinal eclipsed with a torsion angle of 16.4°.
