The title complex, [RhHCl2(PMePh2)3]·3CH2Cl2, has octa­hedral coordination for Rh, with the three phosphine ligands arranged mer and the two chloro ligands mutually cis. Coordination bond lengths are in accord with the relative trans influence of the ligands.
