The title compound, [(CH3)2NH2]2[TeCl6], is isostructural with [(CH3)2NH2]2[SnCl6] and the high-density form of [(CH3)2NH2]2[PtCl6]. It consists of a slightly distorted [TeCl6]2- octahedron and [(CH3)2NH2]+ ions connected by a weak bifurcated hydrogen bond.
