In the title compound, [Mo(CO)4(C14H15P)2], the molybdenum center has a slightly distorted cis-MoP2C4 octahedral geometry. One of the phosphine ligands is disordered over two orientations in a 0.686 (3):0.314 (3) ratio. The packing may be stabilized by weak C—H
O and C—Hπ interactions.
