The tetragonal polymorph of caesium hydro­xide monohydrate, CsOH·H₂O (or CsH₃O₂), a clathrate hydrate, contains an infinite three-dimensional hydrogen-bonded oxy­gen framework that is locally identical to layers found in the hexagonal modification.
