The title compound, [Os3(C6F5NHNH2)(CO)10], contains a near regular triangle of Os atoms. Two of the metal atoms are bridged by the hydrazine group of the C6F5NHNH2 ligand. Ten carbonyl groups complete the cluster, resulting in a distorted octahedral coordination for each Os atom.

The title compound, [Os(C12F10N3)2(CO)3], has been synthesized by the reaction of C6F5N=NNHC6F5 with H2(Os)3(CO)10. The OsC3N3 coordination is octahedral around the Os center. Two bonding modes, chelating and monodentate, are observed for the triazenyl groups.
