metal-organic compounds
The title tertiary arylamine, [Fe(C5H5)(C13H13ClN)], incorporating a ferrocenyl group, was synthesized by reductive methylation of the amine. The cyclopentadienyl plane is nearly perpendicular to the Cmethylene-N-Cmethyl plane [dihedral angle = 96.8 (3)°]
metal-organic compounds
The title compound, [Fe(C5H5)(C13H14N)], a tertiary arylamine bearing a ferrocenyl group was synthesized by reductive methylation of amines. The result reveals that the cyclopentadiene ring carrying the methylaniline residue is nearly perpendicular to the benzene plane [dihedral angle = 92.1 (3)°].
metal-organic compounds
The title compound, [Fe(C5H5)(C13H13N2O2)], a tertiary ferrocenylamine, was synthesized by reductive methylation of the corresponding secondary amine. The substituted cyclopentadienyl ring is nearly perpendicular to the plane of the benzene ring [dihedral angle = 87.8 (3)°].
metal-organic compounds
In the title compound, [Fe(C5H5)(C14H16N)], the substituted cyclopentadienyl ring is essentially perpendicular to the plane of the benzene ring [dihedral angle = 90.7 (2)°]. There are no important intermolecular interactions.
metal-organic compounds
The title compound, [FeHg(C5H5)(C18H11Cl2N)Cl], was prepared by the reaction of [(2-chlorophenyl)(3-chlorophenylimino)methyl]ferrocene, mercury acetate and lithium chloride. The NHg separation of 2.884 (5) Å suggests a weak coordination interaction.
