metal-organic compounds
In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Co(NCS)2(H2O)4]·2C5H6N2O2, the six-coordinated CoII complex lies on a special position of site symmetry 2/m. The methylpyrazine dioxide lies on a mirror plane and links with the CoII complex via O—HO hydrogen bonding.
metal-organic compounds
In the title mononuclear CuII complex, [CuBr2(C6H8N2O2)2], the CuII atom assumes a tetrahedrally distorted square-planar coordination geometry. Two Br− anions and two methylmethoxypyrazine oxide ligands (mmpo) coordinate in a cis manner to the CuII atom, with a dihedral angle of 34.60 (16)° the between the Cu/Br/Br and Cu/O/O planes.
