In the title compound, [Nd(NO₃)₃(C₂₆H₃₈N₂O₄)]·C₃H₆O, the Nd^III atom is coordinated by ten O atoms in a a distorted bicapped dodecahedral geometry. The Nd-O(carbonyl) bond distances [average 2.3817 (18) Å] are significantly shorter than other Nd-O bonds in the Nd^III complex.

Aqua­[2,2'-(naphthal­ene-2,3-di­oxy)bis­(N,N-diethyl­acetamide)]trinitratocerium(III) acetonitrile solvate

In the title compound, [Ce(NO₃)₃(C₂₂H₃₀N₂O₄)(H₂O)]·CH₃CN, the Ce^III atom is coordinated by 11 O atoms in a distorted monocapped penta­gonal antiprismatic geometry. The Ce-O(carbon­yl) bond distances [average 2.415 (3) Å] are significantly shorter than the other Ce-O bonds [2.495 (3)-2.931 (3) Å] in the complex.
