Di-tert-butyl 1-[2-hy­droxy-3-(methyl­sulfan­yl)prop­yl]hydrazine-1,2-di­carboxyl­ate

The title compound, C₁₄H₂₈N₂O₅S, was synthesized by the reaction of 2-[(methyl­sulfan­yl)meth­yl]oxirane with di-tert-butyl oxalate in hydrazine hydrate. In the crystal, mol­ecules are linked by N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds into supra­molecular chains propagating along the b-axis direction.
