Modular deposition chamber for in situ X-ray experiments during RF and DC magnetron sputtering

A description of a new sputtering system for in situ X-ray experiments during DC and RF magnetron sputtering is given. First experimental results on vanadium carbide are presented.

Coalescence analysis for evolving foams via optical flow computation on projection image sequences

An image analysis method employing optical flow computations is proposed to localize and quantify coalescence events in series of projection images. The method was successfully tested for the study of aqueous, metal and polymer foams observed by X-ray radiography.
