In the title compound, C₁₇H₁₈N₂O, the aromatic rings are almost normal to one another, making a dihedral angle of 89.00 (8)°. There is an intra­molecular N—H...O hydrogen bond in the mol­ecule enclosing an S(6) ring motif. In the crystal, mol­ecules are linked by N—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming chains along [010].
