In the title compound, [Zn(C4H13N3)2]Cl2·H2O, the ZnII atom is coordinated by six N atoms from two diethylenetriamine ligands in a distorted octahedral geometry. The complex cation is the mer isomer.

In the title complex, [Cd2(C24H26N4O2)(ClO4)2(H2O)2][Cd2(C24H26N4O2)(H2O)2](ClO4)2, the two distinct macrocycles adopt essentially flat structures. They each encapsulate two Cd atoms. One Cd coordination polyhedron, completed by a water O atom and a perchlorate O atom, is distorted octahedral, while the other is best described as a CdN2O3 square-based pyramid, with water in the apical site. Both dinuclear complexes are centrosymmetric.

The title dinuclear complex, [Cu2(C12H17FN3O2)2](ClO4)2·CH4O, was synthesized by condensation between diethylenetriamine and 2-formyl-4-fluoro-6-hydroxymethylphenol in the presence of copper(II). It contains two similar units, which are linked by Cu—O bonds. The approximate planes of the two units are parallel to each other, and π–π interaction exists between the two units.

In the title compound, C34H30O4, the dihedral angle between the planes of the indene group and the nearer naphthalene ring system is 84.88 (5)°. No significant hydrogen-bonding interactions are observed in the crystal structure.

In the title complex, [Cu2(C8H4O4)2(C6H6N2O)4]·3H2O, the CuII atom exhibits distorted trigonal–bipyramidal geometry and is coordinated by two N atoms of two isonicotinamide (inta) ligands and three O atoms of three isophthalate (ipt) ligands. C—H...O and N—H...O hydrogen bonds, as well as π–π stacking interactions, are observed between.

The title compound, C28H22O2, is a intermediate in the synthesis of 10,10′-dibromo-9,9′-bianthracenyl. The molecule forms both intra- and intermolecular O—H...O hydrogen bonds.
