The title compound, C₂₈H₂₈O₆S, is a protected fucose donor, synthesized as part of our investigations into the preparation of complex oligosaccharides. The benzoyl groups are equatorial and axial, while the thio­ether and ether groups are equatorial. The carboxyl­ate O atoms form a number of intra- and inter­molecular C—H...O inter­actions.
