[μ₈-η⁴-2,5-Bis­(oct-1-ynyl)­thio­phene]­bis­[octa­carbonyl­bis(η⁵-methyl­cyclo­penta­dienyl)-tetrahedro-diiridium­dimolybdenum] di­chloro­methane hemisolvate

The title compound, [Mo₄Ir₄(η⁵-C₆H₇)₄(C₂₀H₂₈S)(CO)₁₆]·0.5CH₂Cl₂, is a mixed-metal dicluster compound in which the cluster modules are linked by a bridging 2,5-bis­(oct-1-ynyl)­thio­phene ligand. The cluster units each have butterfly metal core geometries, with Mo atoms at the wing-tip sites and Ir atoms at the hinge positions.

Bis(μ₃-4-bromo­phenyl­imido)tris­(tricarbonyl­ruthenium)(2 Ru—Ru)

The title compound, [Ru₃(μ₃-NC₆H₄Br)₂(CO)₉], is a V-shaped triruthenium cluster, each side of the V being face-capped by a 4-bromo­phenyl­imide ligand. Each Ru atom is also ligated by three terminal carbonyl ligands. There are two molecules in the asymmetric unit with minor conformational differences.
