Cloning, overexpression, purification and preliminary X-ray analysis of a feast/famine regulatory protein (Rv2779c) from Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv

A feast/famine regulatory protein (Rv2779c) from M. tuberculosis H37Rv was cloned, overexpressed, purified and crystallized. The crystals diffracted to a resolution of 2.8 Å and belonged to space group P2₁2₁2.
