In the title compound, C₂₂H₂₃NO₄·C₂H₆O, the pyridyl ring is aligned at 89.39 (2) and 87.41 (2)° with respect to the benzene rings, and the three rings connected to the methine C atom are arranged in a propeller-like conformation. The heterocycle is linked to the solvent mol­ecule by an O—H...N hydrogen bond.
