In the title compound, C₁₅H₁₆N₂O₃S, the central C—S(=O)₂N(H)—C unit is twisted, with a C—S—N—C torsion angle of −56.4 (2)°. The benzene rings form a dihedral angle of 49.65 (15)° with each other. In the crystal, mol­ecules are linked by N—H...O hydrogen bonds, generating a three-dimensional network.
