The dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the amide fragment is 87.16 (10)°. The C—N—N—C torsion angle is 88.87 (18)°. In the crystal, N—H...N and N—H...O hydrogen bonds connect mol­ecules into chains along [100]. In addition, there is a weak C—H...π inter­action.
