Unidirectional crystal growth and crystalline perfection of L-arginine phosphate monohydrate

A large and unidirectional single crystal of technologically important L-arginine phosphate monohydrate has been grown for the first time by the recently invented Sankaranarayanan–Ramasamy method. The crystalline perfection and the mechanical and dielectric properties have been assessed and correlated.

Synthesis, structure, growth and characterization of an organic crystal: 1,5-diphenylpenta-2,4-dien-1-one

The growth of 1,5-diphenylpenta-2,4-dien-1-one single crystals by the condensation of an ethanol solution and characterization studies are reported. Multiple peaks indicate an internal structural low-angle boundary.
