In the title compound, C₁₈H₁₈N₂O₄S·CH₄O, the 4-methoxy­phenyl and benzyl groups make dihedral angles of 7.28 (18) and 57.54 (18)°, respectively, with the central carbonyl­thio­urea group. The crystal structure is stabilized by inter­molecular hydrogen bonds, N—H...O, O—H...O and C—H...O, forming a two-dimensional network parallel to the bc face.
