The title compound, C₁₂H₁₄O₃S₂, is composed of two thio­phene rings bridged by an –O(CH₂)₂O(CH₂)₂O– chain. The mol­ecule is U-shaped, with the two thio­phene rings inclined to one another by 83.21 (10)°. In the crystal structure, the mol­ecules are bridged by C—H...S and C—H...·O hydrogen bonds, forming a double-stranded polymer chain.
