Tetra-μ-phenoxy­acetato-bis­[(acetonitrile)copper(II)](Cu—Cu)

The title centrosymmetric compound, [Cu₂(C₈H₇O₃)₄(C₂H₃N)₂], is a carboxyl­ate-bridged dinuclear Cu^II complex with four phenoxy­acetate and two acetonitrile mol­ecules as ligands. Each of the four phenoxy­acetate anions straddles the pair of Cu atoms, the Cu—Cu distance being 2.6618 (10) Å. A weak C—H...π inter­action connects the dinuclear Cu^II units into a one-dimensional chain.
