In the title compound, [Al(CH3)(C23H15F10N3)], the AlIII atom is coordinated in a distorted tetrahedral geometry by three N atoms from the tridentate amine and by one C atom of the methyl substituent. Further, there is a short intramolecular AlF contact [2.5717 (11) Å], leading to an overall distorted trigonal–bipyramidal coordination environment around AlIII.

In the title compound, C14H13N3O2, the relative stereochemistry of the three stereogenic C atoms has been determined. In the crystal, N—HO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into chains of inversion dimers running along the b axis.

In the title compound, C16H23ClN2O, both six-membered rings adopt chair conformations, thus allowing the formation of an intramolecular N—HN hydrogen bond. In the crystal, adjacent molecules are combined into chains running along the ac diagonal via O—HN hydrogen bonds.
