Crystallization of biological macromolecules using agarose gel

C. Biertümpfel, J. Basquin, D. Suck and C. Sauter

Agarose gels offer many interesting properties and allow crystallization by counter-diffusion. This method was used to crystallize various proteins and nucleic acid / protein complexes.
