4,6,7-Trimethoxy­furo[2,3-b]quinoline-water (2/3)

The title compound, 2C₁₄H₁₃NO₄·3H₂O, was isolated from the plant Acronychia pendunculata. The asymmetric unit consists of two quinoline mol­ecules and three water mol­ecules of crystallization. Intra- and inter­molecular hydrogen bonds are highly effective in forming infinite chains parallel to the b axis, thereby stabilizing the crystal structure.
