1-{(2-Chloro­phen­yl)[(4-methyl­phen­yl)imino]meth­yl}ferrocene

The title compound, [Fe(C₅H₅)(C₁₉H₁₅ClN)], a new ketimine-containing ferrocenyl derivative, has been synthesized and characterized structurally. Conjugation between the two benzene rings and the imine group is not observed. In addition, there are no significant inter­molecular inter­actions.
