2-(4-Bromo­phenyl)-5-(3,4-di­methoxy­phenyl)-3,4-di­methyl­thio­phene

The title compound, C₂₀H₁₉BrO₂S, was synthesized by the cyclization of 1-(4-bromo­phenyl)-4-(3,4-di­methoxy­phenyl)-2,3-di­methyl­butane-1,4-dione with 2,4-bis(4-methoxy­phenyl)-2,4-disulfanyl­ene-1,3,2,4-di­thia­diphosphetane. The dimethoxyphenyl and bromophenyl rings make dihedral angles of 28.4 (3) and 45.0 (3)°, respectively, with the thiophene ring. The bond lengths are unexceptional.
