In the title compound, C18H18N8S2, the two 1-phenyl-1H-tetrazole-5-thiol moieties are located on the same side of the butane-1,4-diyl chain but point in opposite directions.

The mol­ecule of the title compound, C12H10N2O3, is non-planar. The nitro group is twisted out of the pyridine ring plane by 31.0 (1)°. Inversion-related mol­ecules are arranged in layers.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C14H13N3O3·H2O, consists of one isonicotinic acid (3-hydr­oxy-4-methoxy­benzyl­idene)hydrazide (IBH) mol­ecule and one water mol­ecule connected through an O—H...O hydrogen bond. Further O—H...O, O—H...N and N—H...O hydrogen bonds result in the formation of an intricate three-dimensional supramolecular network.

The title compound, C14H12ClNO, was synthesized by the photo-Fries reaction of 2-chloro-N-(4-methyl­phen­yl)­benzamide in acetonitrile. The crystal structure contains intra­molecular N—H...O and inter­molecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds.
