Expression, purification and preliminary X-ray crystallographic analysis of the chicken MHC class I molecule YF1*7.1

The chicken classical MHC class I antigen YF1*7.1 was crystallized together with β₂-microglobulin but without a peptide ligand. Crystals diffracted synchrotron radiation to 1.32 Å and belonged to the monoclinic space group P2₁.
