μ-(Furan-2-carbaldehyde azine)-1κ²O,N:2κ²N′,O′-bis­[(furan-2-carbaldehyde azine-κ²N,O)silver(I)] bis­(hexa­fluoro­phosphate): an unusual complex containing two metal atoms and three ligands

The title complex, [Ag₂(C₁₀H₈N₂O₂)₃](PF₆)₂, contains two silver cations and three mol­ecules of the new Schiff base ligand furan-2-carbaldehyde azine, accompanied by two charge-balancing PF₆⁻ anions. There is a centre of inversion at the mid-point of the N—N bond of the central ligand. The Ag atom adopts a `see-saw' coordination, with two short Ag—N bonds and two long Ag—O bonds.

Tetra­aqua­bis[5-(4-pyrid­yl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thiol­ato-κN⁴]zinc(II) dihydrate

In the structure of the title compound, [Zn(C₇H₄N₃OS)₂(H₂O)₄]·2H₂O, the Zn^II atom, located on an inversion centre, is coordinated by the pyridyl groups of two oxadiazole ligands and four water mol­ecules. The packing is dominated by a three-dimensional system of hydrogen bonds.

6-[4-(2-Chloro­ethyl­oxy)naphth­yl]fulvene

The title compound, C₁₈H₁₅ClO, has been synthesized by reacting cyclo­penta­diene with 4-(2-chloroeth­yloxy)naphth­aldehyde. The naphthalene and cyclo­penta­dienyl rings make a dihedral angle of 42.4 (1)°.
