In the title compound, C₁₇H₁₆Br₂N₂O₂, the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 57.7 (3)°. The conformation of the central N—C—C—C—N chain is gauche-anti [torsion angles = −64.2 (4) and −167.8 (4)°]. Two intra­molecular O—H...N hydrogen bonds occur. In the crystal, molecules are linked by pairs of C—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers.
