In the title compound, C₁₂H₁₄N₂S, the dihedral angle between the 1,3,5-trimethyl­benzene and 1,3-thia­zol-2-amine groups is 73.15 (4)°. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of N—H...N hydrogen bonds generate R₂²(8) loops.
