Tetra­kis(3,5-diphenyl-4-amino-4H-1,2,4-triazole-κN¹)zinc(II) bis­(perchlorate)

In the title compound, [Zn(C₁₄H₁₂N₄)₄](ClO₄)₂, the Zn atom is coordinated tetra­hedrally by four monodentate 3,5-diphenyl-4-amino-4H-1,2,4-triazole ligands.

The crystal structure of the title compound, [Zn(C₁₂H₈N₂)₂(H₂O)₂][NbF₅O], consists of Zn^II complex cations and Nb^V complex anions. The Zn^II and Nb^V atoms each have a distorted octa­hedral coordination geometry. The Nb—F bond in the trans position with respect to the Nb=O bond is significantly longer than the other four Nb—F bonds in the same [NbOF₅]²⁻ anion.
