(Trans-di­chloro-κCl)­bis­[(di­cyclo­hexyl­phosphino)­methane-κ²P,P′] ruthenium(II)

In the title complex, [Ru(C₂₅H₄₆P₂)₂Cl₂] or RuCl₂(dcpm)₂ [dcpm is 1,2-bis­(di­cyclo­hexyl­phosphino)­methane, C₂₅H₄₆P₂], the Ru atom (site symmetry ) is in a octahedral coordination environment with two chelating dcpm ligands and two trans chloro ligands.

Bis(2,2′-bi­pyridine-κ²N,N′)­chloro­copper(II) tetra­fluoro­borate di­chloro­methane solvate

The new mononuclear copper(II) complex, [CuCl(C₁₀H₈N₂)₂]BF₄·CH₂Cl₂, was prepared by a new procedure using photo-irradiation and a nitro­gen atmosphere. X-ray analysis reveals a slightly distorted trigonal–bipyramidal coordination geometry of copper(II); the axial ligands and the Cu^II atom deviate slightly from linearity [N—Cu—N = 175.3 (3)°].
