The title compound, C₁₀H₁₂N₄OS·H₂O, was obtained from 6-methyl­imidazo­[2,1-b]­thia­zole-5-carbohydrazide and 2-propanone. The crystal structure is stabilized by intra- and intermolecular hydrogen-bond interactions.
