organic compounds
Low-temperature structural data are reported for the anaesthetic (2R)-(−)-2-(2,6-dimethylphenylaminocarbonyl)-1-methylpiperidinium chloride, C15H23N2O+·Cl−, which complement existing room-temperature data for the S enantiomer. Crystal packing is largely controlled by infinite N—HCl hydrogen-bonded chains.
organic compounds
The structure of gemfibrozil, C15H22O3, a hypolipidemic agent, is reported in the context of studies on polymorphism, which is considered to affect the stability and bioavailability of the drug. The structure contains two molecules in the asymmetric unit, which are linked via two O—HO hydrogen bonds [OO = 2.631 (2) and 2.652 (2) Å].
