A one-dimensional silver(I) coordination polymer based on an asymmetric flexible N-donor carboxyl­ate ligand: catena-poly[(μ₃-4-{[(1-phenyl-1H-tetra­zol-5-yl)sulfanyl]­methyl}­benzo­ato-κ³O:O′:N⁴)silver(I)]

A one-dimensional silver(I) coordination polymer based on an asymmetric μ₃-bridging flexible carboxyl­ate ligand is reported. The structure displays intrachain π–π contacts and in addition forms a three-dimensional supramolecular framework. Thermogravimetric analysis and fluorescence spectroscopy reveal good thermal stability and a strong green luminescence at room temperature.

A one-dimensional cobalt(II) coordination polymer based on 2,4′-oxydi­benzoic acid: poly[[[di­aqua­bis­[2-(4-carb­oxy­phen­oxy)benzoato-κO¹]cobalt(II)]-μ-4,4′-bi­pyridine-κ²N:N′] dihydrate]

In a new one-dimensional cobalt(II) coordination polymer with 2-(4-carb­oxy­phen­oxy)benzoate (Hoba⁻) and 4,4′-bi­pyridine (bipy) ligands, the Co^II ions are connected by bipy ligands to form an infinite one-dimensional chain. O—H...O hydrogen bonding extends these chains into a two-dimensional supra­molecular architecture.
