An algorithm and the corresponding program SMEPOC have been developed for automatic generation of trial structures for inorganic compounds from the unit-cell content and the space-group information.

PeckCryst: a program for structure determination from powder diffraction data using a particle swarm optimization algorithm

PeckCryst has been developed and released for molecular crystal structure determination from powder diffraction data and uses a particle swarm optimization algorithm. The distributed releases can run on Windows and Linux (32- and 64-bit) platforms.
