Crystallization and preliminary X-ray structure determination of jack bean urease with a bound antibody fragment

Jack bean urease complexed with an antibody fragment has been crystallized, a partial 3.3 Å data set has been collected and a molecular-replacement solution for the urease has been determined.

The structure of AhrC, the arginine repressor/activator protein from Bacillus subtilis

The crystal structure of apo-AhrC, the hexameric arginine repressor/activator protein from B. subtilis, has been determined. The structure has been compared with previous 30 Å resolution EM studies of the protein and with crystal structures of its homologues from E. coli and B. stearothermophilus.
