The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C₁₇H₁₆Br₂N₄S, contains two independent mol­ecules in which the benzene rings form dihedral angles of 20.0 (1) and 55.3 (1)°. In the crystal, a pair of N—H...S hydrogen bonds link the two different independent mol­ecules into a dimer.
