Benz­yl 5-bromo-4-methyl­salicylate

The title compound, C₁₅H₁₃BrO₃, was synthesized by the benz­yl esterification of 5-bromo-4-methyl­salicylic acid. The mol­ecular conformation is stabilized by an intra­molecular hydrogen bond.
