A low-temperature neutron diffraction study of Mn₁₂-acetate

The low-temperature structure of the title dodecanuclear mixed-valence manganese carboxyl­ate, [Mn₁₂O₁₂(CD₃COO)₁₆(H₂O)₄]·2CD₃COOH·4H₂O, is similar to the room-temperature structure, differing by a small change in the configuration of one of the coordinated acetate groups, related to additional hydrogen bonding.
